“I’m being adopted!” These are the words of a proud child officially becoming a member of their new family. There is nothing more heartwarming than witnessing this special occasion. Thanks to the kind sponsorship of Arvest Bank, children are now adopting a bear and declaring to the judge that they will care for and unconditionally love their bear. The RVAC also presents the child with an Adoption Certificate, and a name for the bear is chosen.
The RVAC hopes to expand this well received project to surrounding counties once additional sponsorship is found.

SUITCASE PROJECT
Children abruptly taken into foster care or changing placements will no longer be carrying their belongings in trash bags thanks to a new RVAC project - the Suitcase Project. For several months, UAFS has generously been collecting small new bags and toiletries for children. Also, individuals have had successful home “Suitcase Parties.” The RVAC has begun making bags available to children in Sebastian and Crawford Counties. Now, foster children will be able to travel with the dignity and respect they deserve. The RVAC hopes to keep the Suitcase Project on going. In order to accomplish this goal, donations will always be welcome.
NEW FRIENDS
A huge thank you is owed to LifeWay Christian Bookstore and patrons for donating countless stuffed animals to RVAC. These adorable animals will prove to be comforting companions for children entering foster care.
